Anyone here using a vintage fridge (1950s/60s)?
Would you be interested in participating in the following BBC2 programme?
If so, please make contact with Thoroughly Modern Media. PM one of the Moderators for contact details. --------------------------------------------------------- Hi there, I hope you are well. I work for a TV production company called Thoroughly Modern Media, specialising in high-end factual programming and documentaries. We are currently producing a show for BBC2 which celebrates Britain's Greatest Inventions and explores how they have shaped the world we live in today. One of those inventions is the fridge and Giles Coren will be making a short film to explore its social and cultural impact. With Giles, we really want to find an original owner of a vintage (1950s/60s fridge) who still has it (we're thinking Prestcold Packaway era if possible) and can remember first getting it and how it changed their lives. Would it be possible to discuss this with you over the phone and see if you might be able to help us in our search? We are enormously up against it for a whole host of reasons and have to shoot this film on Thursday so any help you could give us would be an absolute godsend. My mobile number is [Please PM one of the Moderators] , if you could call me at your earliest convenience that would be incredible. Thank you so much in advance and I look forward to speaking with you. All the very best, Simon |
