Default Cossor 494AC

So my second little project I have given myself is replacement of the tuning string.

How hard is this to do as again? I am completely new to this and don't want to strip parts that I don't have to and risk damage.

Thanks.

Quite an easy one by the looks of it. Don't forget to take up all slack and then put a small amount of tension on the spring when tying off.

I agree.... If only all Dial Cord Drives were as easy as this appears to be
You will always know when you're an 'expert' at Drive Cords, when you have successfully fitted a New Drive Cord to a 'Philips/Mullard' set with the pulley wheels attached to the Bakelite cabinet, but the Tuning spindle & Drive Drum are attached to the Chassis .

Remove the Chassis from the Cabinet and (you've guessed it), off comes the Dial Cord
