Default Cossor 500

Hello, iam listening to my Cossor 500 as i type this, and it distorts when turned past half, especially on strong stations on MW and LW,local stations that are lower in power do not cause the sound to distort, although the volume is ample for my ears!could my 7C6 be on its way out?

Difficult to say. You should really be asking this question elsewhere in these forums otherwise this thread could go seriously off-topic. Some stations do appear to distort due to the severe compression used and some detectors don't like it. That sounds like your problem. Check on other stations first then nip over to the help and advice sections and post there.
