Default Sony STR-VX2L Question

Hello. Newbie here. I have been given a Sony STR-VX2L amp/receiver, it is in mint condition. The power cable has no plug so just gone to replace and I see there is no earth wire just Brown and Blue, is that safe/ok? Also what fuse would I need. Sorry if this is all very basic but I do not want to do anything stupid...like starting a fire Thank you.

Default Re: Sony STR-VX2L Question

The lack of an earth wire is normal. Fit a 3A or 5A fuse.

Obtain help from somebody more knowledgeable if you feel you don't know what you're doing.
