Hi everyone.
I'm looking for the wiring diagram for the 7 pin DIN audio in/out socket on the Ferguson Videostar 3V36 so I can make up a lead to connect to a tv etc. If anyone has the information could you reply to this post please? Thank you. Rich. |

It's more or less same pinout as a normal audio 5 pin DIN plug, in fact you can use normal 5 pin connector without any problems. See here for the pinout https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DIN_connector
The 7 pin plug allowed VCR operation from the TV remote control when connected to some Ferguson TV's fitted with the TX100 chassis. When pressing play for example on the TV remote the infra red signal to the TV was decoded then fed as a serial data signal to the VCR micro via one or both (not sure now) extra pins. John. |
