Default Dansette Chorister Manual

Hi Folks I have just purchased a little Dansette Chorister Radio and am awaiting its arrival I can only find the circuit diagram which I have bought and downloaded and is fine has any one have any more information eg dismantling etc as I don't want to break anything! any information much appreciated.

There is nothing particulalry complex about the way these were made and assembled. They always looked a bit homemade (aka crude) inside so shoud be very easy to unscrew and dismantle. Take some care when removing the tuning dial.

Thanks Edward Does the tuning dial come off the same way as a Bush TR82?

I don’t know about the Dansette but with some of those types of dials the centre metal unscrews, then the dial lifts off. The TR82 just pulls off has you are probably aware.

Hopefully Edward or another forum member will know.

Just gave it a go the tuning dial comes off with a gentle steady pull the same as some control knobs ie see photo. Next one is getting off the pointer But haven't got time to look tonight!
