Default Columbia Electro-Graphophone Model 300

Hi

Does anyone have any information on this model? it is a good quality mahogany console model with belt-driven turntable, the motor with 3-ball governor and speed adjuster. It has a 2-stage power amplifier with push-pull PX4s and a 3-stage TRF radio with reaction. Looks like 1929-1930. Could post pictures of it if anyone is interested. Appears to date from before the union with HMV. Thanks. David.

No information other than at that early date, the PX4s would have been the earlier lower power balloon type. You could check the filament current at 4V to see if it is <1A.
