Bush VHF90A - the final work!!!
After my preview post when I described the broken case and other problems, I'm showing you the final work for this great vintage radio. It is fully functional and sounds amazing- gives you the feel of living in the '50s. I'm letting the photos to talk for themselves.

Well done!
Enjoy listening, it's a very pretty radio when it's lit up.

Re: Bush VHF90A - the final work!!!
That looks amazing. Well done, and thank you for posting.
These are radios which look spectacular when they're pristine, but quite horrible when the Bakelite is dull, the paint's chipped, the trim shrunk, the brass tarnished, the dial cloudy and so on, as is usually the case! If you think this sounds amazing, do try some of the wooden-cased Bush radios of the same era, e.g. VHF62, VHF64 or VHF94. Nick. N. |

Re: Bush VHF90A - the final work!!!
I have one of these in reasonable condition, but the case is cracked on one side. I'm in two minds as to whether to try to repair it or avoid the risk of making in worse...
I'm not sure why it is cracked (ie. if the case has distorted and won't got back to how it should be regardless of whether I try). Yours looks fantastic,
