These look like two 3.5mm (stereo) or 2.5mm (mono) jack connectors and also look like they may have been added by a previous user. Just measure ther diameter to ascertain which. The circuit diagram/service sheet for this can be downloaded from this site @£1.99. Edward

Slightly different sockets on this one, the + and - signs can just be seen. I think the one in post 1 had the same symbols but very worn. Look like 4 mm sockets.

ISTR that the older SRP31 had a pair of wander sockets for the connection of a tape recorder, identical to the ones in Frank's machine in post 3.

So you need to find some wander plugs which is none too easy nowadays. Some people improvise, e.g. a brass split pin with some heatshrink sleeving.

Could well be wander plugs, why did I think 4mm

Bush did fit wander sockets to several of their record players, for rec out. Believe it or not they actually supplied the matching plugs when new!

The last two players I repaired still had them unused in the sockets.
They do turn up on various websites.

Dave.

The square flange style pictured could be either 4mm or 1/8" sockets. Hard to tell with no point of reference.

I have just checked the tape output sockets on my SRP41 and they definitely take standard wander plugs, the 4mm variety don't fit at all. There are 3 for sale on Ebay at the moment.

Gents

Plug arrived courtesy of Barry thank you I will keep you posted on how i get on recording out to my reel to reel machines once the cable is done

On another note anyone ever come across an AU41 add on amp for this machine to create Stereo I would love to get one to complement it

The sound out of this machine is excellent, definitely a Dansette beater in the day I would say

Cheers

There have been a couple of AU41s on eBay in the past few months, but few and far between, I fear.
