Stephanie, that's wasn't very lady-like!
Josh mentioned to me in a PM that he has nearly 70 sets in one room..... |

P.S.: Edited my previous post. I didn't know that word was quite that foul (thinking instead it was a milder version of...well you know). |

Re: A Bush something (!) for spares
Maybe not lady like but dead right. There is always room for radios and TV sets here.
Meet my wife she's trained to accept that. I've got 11 TV sets in the bedroom and ... well I can't count the radios! Cheers, Steve P.

Re: Accumulating stuff
Reading about Josh and his 70 sets in one room, I just done a count and in one room alone I have :-
38 radios. 3 record players. 14 telephones. 36 clocks (discounting modern ones). Numerous other items irrelevant to these forums including paraffin/pressure lamps. It would thus seem I'm relatively uncluttered |

Amateurs !
I've got 7 tellies just in the kitchen alone. It wouldn't be so bad except 5 of them are consoles Quote:

My radios, clocks and test equipment are scattered all over the house - some in use, others not, and the pressure lanterns and stoves are mainly in the garage.

Make a platform out of some radios. Toss the mattress over it. Presto. Instant bed. You're 12, you're probably a skinny twig....so it won't be much weight for the radios to support. |
