Default Orr radio 1930's any info?

I have the chance of a typical mid thirties tabletop radio, but cant find any info of the maker. Thinking it might have been very short lived. The panel on the back reads, " Orr Radio 79a Parkhurst Rd, London N7. There is one Orr radio listed in radio radio, but the address is different.

According to Bulletin article "Resume of British Goods Manufacturers etc" part 10

" Labgear was bought by Pye in 1951 (it is suspected that prior to this, Labgear was not a
limited company and a dormant Pye company - Orr Radio Ltd - had its name changed
to Labgear when Pye took over in 1951). Orr Radio Ltd was incorporated in October 1932"

The name Orr features in the history of Pye, coincidence perhaps: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charles_Orr_Stanley
