Think it is on the back cover but will double check.

I was just looking at the last pics, (post #35) and I noticed that the vertical strut behind the speaker aperture has holes drilled in a way that suggests the possibility that a moving iron speaker was originally fitted. Tony.

If it's the set I think it is it definitely had a moving iron speaker originally.

Cheers

Crumbs, you've found it! What is it called? Do you have the datasheet for it?

I've just finished writing it up my restoration here:-

Thanks

Cheers, I got it from EBay. I liked the look of it and was after something really old.

Hi Tamemin

My mistake I offered it RWB on the B&B , no takers but It was sold on Ebay 8th June 2017

Its not often you get to see what happens so its great to see you have done a fantastic job.

Cheers

No I sold mine in 2017 but I am pretty sure it is the same set, I mean how many of them can there be

So it looks as if there has been another custodian for a year

I attach a couple of pictures from my original listing.

Cheers

It's definitely the same set, the scratches on the chassis are identical, as are the constellation of worm holes on the vertical brace. Looks like the last guy(s) replaced the tubes though.

How cool that you get to see one of your old sets on it's travels!

As it sold for just £9 that was probably below the value of the original valves.

I always liked that set that's why I bought it.

Yes it's really nice to see it restored to a standard I would find hard to achieve.

I have so much going on and trying to concentrate on Cossor.

Cheers

Thanks Tony!

I really like the way it's all working now. Thanks for the transformer.

What I really like about it, is the technical simplicity of what's inside. There must have been a shortage of resistors in the 1930s, because there's only about 2 in the set!

I like fiddling with the regen knob. Such fun!

Cheers
