Default Air Ministry switch, what was it used with?

Found this ebonite RAF switch at Golborne, marked 10F/1276.
I think it might be an aerial change over switch used with the R1082/T1083 set up, can anyone confirm this?
Thanks, Mike.

I also have a couple of examples of this switch, it does look to date from the R1082/T1083 era.

I think I have answered my own question, it looks like the switch can be seen in profile on the top of the R1082/T1083 installation shown in a picture on Ben Nock's military radio museum site. The pictures is of an instructor showing a pupil how to operate the sets.

I don't have a copy of AP1086 section 10F, but the index tells us the section's title is:

"Radio and radar starters and switchgear"

And that section 10F is to be found within AP1086 Book 4, Part 2.

...if anyone finds a copy, please do share!!

I have a copy of Section 10F, but its dated 1950. And in that edition 10F/1276 is not listed, so it must have become obsolete in the interim period.

Hi Richard, thanks for that research, often the absence by a particular year is helpful in itself knowing when it was not in service.

Cheers, Scott

Here is a unit in my collection which I'd forgotten I had. It uses one of these switches.
It appears to be an aerial switch panel for something, but I've failed to find out any more.
Beneath the plug at the bottom left it is labelled 'KITE AE', which might give a clue that it was part of a liferaft or dinghy radio system.

Any ideas would be welcome!

For anyone interested, here's the instruction book for the Airborne Mk2A Lifeboat pertaining to the radio equipment:
