Always liked those decks, cheap and tatty, compared to the earlier range though they were stylish. With their all plastic pick up arm, yes, fond memories!

Nice to see your pics. This is a later version of the Dansette "Challenge 106" from 1964/65. The front control knobs look like they are replacements, but still look really good. From time to time, complete replacement gold finished Dansette moulded logos appear on ebay in the "Dansette" section. By the way, is the tone arm taped up - or glued and taped?

Hi. No the tone arm is not taped up. The tape is to stop the cables from sagging, having lost the original rubber wedges. Here are some more pics.
