Default Decca TPW70 surprise

Hmmmm what is that large heavy cardboard box, can’t remember ordering anything that big?

In my naivety I thought a DECCA TPW70 was a small novelty transistor radio not a dinner plate size wall hanging model!! What a brilliant surprise it is fully working and is currently the prize of my collection hanging on the end of the bookcase.

I too have a 'thing' for this model and have several hanging in the house and when friends visit, even those who are not into my hobby, it's always a talking topic.
