What do you have behind your TV?
We've recently had a thread about what's under your TV, but now I think it would be interesting to see what's BEHIND your TV!
How do you plug everything in? Is it fairly tidy - or a proper rats nest of confusion? Here's mine....

I assume there should have been something after this line rather than it being a null list.

Re: What do you have behind your TV?
A Power Socket, Ethernet cable, Coax Feed to LMB, 2 HDMI cables and the Wall
We don't have a terrestrial aerial feed as the signal is non existent. Its also connected Via WiFi but strictly speaking the WiFi Hub is in front although I guess the WiFi receiver is in the back somewhere Cheers Mike T

Mines pretty boring as her indoors goes mad if she sees piles of wire hanging about. |

Probably spiders and things I have lost as I haven’t cleaned behind it for a couple of years!

The TV I use the most is a 14" Toshiba CRT set. I made a board to set on top of the set, so I can place various equipment on top. VCR, Cable box, DTV converter that can record on a USB flash memory. Hanging in the back is a converter that converts HDMI to component video. On the floor is a large spike strip that takes seven NEMA plugs. BTW, every time I read about your location, I think about one of my favorite Beatles tunes about the 4,000 holes. |

Re: What do you have behind your TV?
I have two multi-way 13A Socket strips, one is behind my TV. The plugs in this one are for the TV itself ( Goodmans flat panel LCD ), one for my Blu-Ray player, one for my VCR/DVD Recorder, and a couple of spare sockets, freed up since I retired my Philips CRT Analogue set with Freeview box). The other strip, which in fact is velcro'd to my sideboard, has four switched sockets for my Record Deck, HiFi stack system and DAB radio.

Re: What do you have behind your TV?
I made an 8 way power distribution strip using IEC 6 amp female socket items. Fed from a short flying lead with a 13 amp plug into a single nearby switched wall outlet. TV, DVD recorder and soundbar are each fitted with male IEC 6 amp plugs. All IEC units and cables are concealed behind a 7 ft strip of false skirting board the cables come out of a slot at carpet level straight into the bottom aperture of the vetical tube of the TV stand assembly. The result is a very neat appearance with very little cable visible.

Re: What do you have behind your TV?
Many things, two extensions powering various things, inc. the Hi-Fi (which requires 3 plugs) and the TV setup that requires 4 plugs. Also two ethernet cables to the router, 2 satellite feeds and one aerial lead, for ease all antenna/lnb connections are F connectors with adaptors on the aerial connections to standard Belling-Lee connectors.

Re: What do you have behind your TV?
A Raspberry Pi running OSMC to make my dumb TV smart.
I use it to entertain the grandchildren with YouTube cartoons, and to access video files from my PC over the LAN.

Just the wall. All the sockets Scarts and HDMI are either underneath or at the side (video inputs only)

Re: What do you have behind your TV?
One a more comical note- I've noticed a large spider( we call it Fred. Could be Mrs fred, with all the little ones we see around ), but it definitely hides behind TV.I'd like to thinkthat that large bluebottle that loves to hide behind the TV when it seen a swatter come out, meets Fred, and Fred has lunch.

Re: What do you have behind your TV?
Apparently as a child of about 3? my mother would present me with a plate of sandwiches for lunch and if I wasn't keen on them I would 'dispose' of them behind the TV so she thought I had eaten them!

They often say "What a lot of wires, how do you know where they all go?" Have you ever been handed a pen and some sticky tape, and asked to label all the wires with where they go?
