Default Auroral propagation

Its been on my bucket list to bounce my dull voice off the aurora borealis since being a nerdy young lad in the eighties when I was first licenced.

With the help of the recently finished linear I ticked it off my bucket list earlier. Never thought it would happen , over the moon

Well done, was that just earlier this evening? Looking on Aurorawatch I see there was a big spike at around 5pm-6pm this evening. Nothing now, of course.

I just wish I could see the Aurora, never mind work it.

Yeah I shot in the shack about 6:30 having seen an alert, and I know, saw it once in the early 90’s, maybe this cycle, fingers crossed
