Norman Price published electronics books?
Hi!
Does anybody know roughly how many Radio, TV and Electronics Books were produced by Norman Price, and what was the last year they published? I've seen examples from 1948 up until the late 1970s at least! Is there a definite list of Norman Price books known to be in existence, so I can see if there's anything I might be interested in I've not bought yet? Chris Williams

Re: Norman Price published electronics books?
I doubt if more than 30 titles at one time existed, as they were widely used on training
courses, and not just the general reader. The small format paperbacks could easily be updated to accomodate syllabus changes. Later the publisher was called Dickson Price, the books had a larger format, and the versions published into the late 1990s for City&Guilds 224/2240 I taught with, as I found them superior to the Newnes titles. Electronics Servicing (12 books) I recommend highly. Last edited by Restoration73; 8th Sep 2021 at 9:48 pm. Reason: typo |

This later book Electronics Servicing Vol. 4 is one of the best covering radio, and mono
and colour TV principles. By this time (1994) valves were off the syllabus but it does cover some of the later colour tubes ; https://www.amazon.in/Electronics-Se.../dp/0853801878 |
