Default Kolster Brandes RB10 switching

Hi. I have a Kolster Brandes RB10 radio in my collection, which has rather a great looking appearance,"duck - egg" blue coloured bakelite cabinet, red coloured control knobs, and two white coloured switch buttons. My family had one of these nice sets from new in 1960, so it brings back some memories for me.
The latching switches can develop some faults (one bank for on/off, and the other for m.w/l.w). In this case, the wavechange switch developed a fault where it would not stay in one position, but either returned to the m.w position, or got stuck half way up between l.w & m.w. I tried changing the return springs over from both latching switches, but this did not solve the matter (as on/off switch was o.k).
I was informed that maybe the latching mechanism was worn, and it would need to have to gain access to the mechanism (fiddly job).Thankfully, I did not have to open the switch mechanism. I did not have access to such fiddly small springs, or a scrap RB10. Luckily someone at work had some cassette door springs, which thankfully solved the problem on the m.w/l.w latching switch. You don't often see these radios at collector's fairs.
A photo of this set can be seen on trader sheet 1497
Regards
Mike
