Default Rogers Master stereo amplifier

Hi there!

I have just registered on your forum which seems very active,
because I am looking for information about this amplifier. There is indeed a diagram appeared here, a few years ago but it is unusable because it is illegible! Unable to recognize component values! I wish I could rebuild mine which was extensively modified by the previous owner. So I appeal to your kindness ;°)

Cordially,

Zannekin

Welcome - there a few members here who have, or have had the Stereo Master pre-amp - including me. However, I have been unable to source detailed info - and I think that is a common problem.

Attached is the schematic of the preamp (found on ElektroTanya). Couldn't find a good schematic of the amplifier though.

It might be similar to the RD Junior Circuit. Look for the same valve line up.

Zannekin,
can you post pictures of your 'Master'? Or give a valve line up?

There is Master II info in this thread and a diagram at post #16 https://www.vintage-radio.net/forum/...d.php?t=107049

I'm sure it has been discussed on UKVRRR in the more recent past too?

Hello,

Have a look at this thread going back to 2013 as there is a circuit in post #11. I’ve attached what I feel to be a better copy in a ZIP file.

https://www.vintage-radio.net/forum/...ad.php?t=96012

There is some other info in this thread which may be of use.

I have the Stereo Junior with EL84’s.

Regards
Terry.

Hello,

Ooops! Wrong amplifier! Maybe I was thinking about the circuit in the thread ‘Rogers Master II’ in post #6.

I have Rogers, Leak, Radford, Quad, Richardson and Armstrong amplifiers and a few other makes in the collection.

Hi Zan,

Try this link:

https://www.lencoheaven.net/forum/in...?topic=30734.0

The attached circuit came from this site.

The RCA uses the Jeffery Phase Splitter. See Page 274 onwards in the August issue of Wireless World 1947
https://worldradiohistory.com/UK/Wir...ld-1947-08.pdf

Favourite amps are the Leak TL25+, Leak Stereo 20, Radford STA15 and Quad II.

Hi Terry!

Thanks for the links.

Indeed these amps have a certain charm!

I found the information concerning the M.S.A.
I join them.....
