Private messaging problem?
Ive sent a few private messages to forum members over the last few days or so but received no reply from any of them despite the members being online.
Is there a problem with the PM system? my inbox and sent boxes are nowhere near full and ive not changed any settings.

Re: Private messaging problem?
There are no issues that I'm aware of. My PMs have been working normally.
The person you've been PMing may just have not noticed that he has new PMs. I used to do that quite often when I first joined the forum. |

Re: Private messaging problem?
One of the options is to send an email when you receive a PM and/or a popup notification. Doesn't help the sender of course, but if you do miss an incoming one this may be the reason.

Re: Private messaging problem?
The default options for new members are to receive email notifications and a pop-up alerts for new PMs. Obviously members can switch these off but the default is to notify as much as possible.
