Default The R1155 Royal Air Force Receiver.

The manual for the R1155 Receiver can be downloaded from The Vintage and Military Amateur Radio Society (VMARS) website here:-
http://www.vmarsmanuals.co.uk/r1155/r1155.htm

Jones Plugs and Sockets for the R1155 can be obtained from Farnell. Go to their website:-
www.farnell.co.uk
and do a parts search using the word "jones" The plugs/sockets needed are those in the 2400 series. Note that Farnell do not stock the "correct" "U" shaped shrouds/cable clamps as originally used with the R1155.

Some other spare parts including the correct shrouds/cable clamps should be available from this website:-
http://www.g4cvu.co.uk/

There are numerous webpages relating to the R1155 including those at Ray Robinson's virtual museum:-
http://www.shlrc.mq.edu.au/~robinson/museum/R1155.html

those on Martin Swift's website:-
http://homepage.ntlworld.com/martin_...reless21a.html

and Peter Tranter's Website:-
http://www.cordite.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/

Many R1155 owners seem to have problems with the slow motion drive. Another thread:-

relating to this can be found in this section.

Information on mods to the R1155 including the construction of a PSU can be found on the Vintage Radio and Electronics site:-
