Default GEC SA9083 Tester (ex BT)

Good morning, my first post here!

I am looking for some information on my SA9083 tester. I have had it several years just using the ohms ranges. This all works fine, as does the M Ohms range. It will not however measure voltage on the 5V DC range, or the AC250V (Off) setting.

I suspect an open circuit resistor or diode somewhere as I cannot measure any internal resistance through the meter terminals on these settings.

Can the circuit diagram be purchased for this meter? If I knew the rotary switch connections it would help me to trace the circuit. I can't find any fuses inside.

It was made around 1990 by GEC measurements (SEI) and is the version with the 9V battery.

Thanks in advance.
Mark.
