Default Bush SRP51 speaker grille

Anyone got any tips on how to get bostick glue off this thing without doing any more damage?

Are there any plastic fittings nearby? (because any of the following can harm plastics)

If not, you could try Ronsonol Lighter Fluid, see pic (But NOT Lighter Gas). It has a swivel nozzle and can be squirted onto the area but, as the glue has hardened over the years, it may take several applications for it to soften enough for gentle lifting.

There is a more powerful fluid by the name of M.E.K. (methyl, ethyl, ketone - aka Butanone) it can also be found in model/model railway shops where it's sold for 'welding' plastics and 'perspex' type materials and works like MEK but it's called "Plastic Weld". (see pic)

For any of these products only use them in a well ventilated area and nowhere near a flame!

MEK melts (welds) all polystyrenes, hard, soft, expanded.
I use petrol - outside - to remove Evostick and rubber glues, No-Nails etc.
