Default Ekco AD 75 Restoration project.

About 18 years ago after my father ( who was a brown goods rep for Philips) died I cleared out his garage and found an Ekco AD75. The case was in pretty good condition but the chassis a rusted wreck. I got involved with the BVWS made a new chassis, visited the BVWS museum in South London and started to rebuild it.

Work got busy, life took over and work on it stopped. It has languished in my workroom ever since. I have all the valves and most of the parts. Is this a project anyone would be interested in completing?

It seems to good a model not to be finished.

I live in the East Midlands in Bottesford where Notts Lincs and Leicestershire meet.

I am not offering the Ekco for sale. More a sort of Heathkit of an Ekco for somebody to finish the chassis and get it working.

I know this is many hours of work and if done commercially would cost a fortune. It's more a labour of love that somebody would actually enjoy doing. Dare I say a perfect lockdown project?

Many Thanks
