I would say c.1968 as the deck is a later version of the one shown under Post #2.
It has an UL84/UY85 amplifier and may be one of the very last of the valved "Vanity Case" models.

Thanks Lawrence. Yes that looks like this one, I thought it would have been older than that just by the style but there you are? I wrongly assumed the cap was dated 1955. Anyhow, aside from needing a new stylus, a bypass cap and a bit of grease it all works
