I've unearthed my MB12 5" CRT monochrome monitor, made by KME. I believe it is for composite video+syncs but I suppose I could feed it separate syncs if that's what it needs.
I want to sit it alongside a FTA satellite receiver but it'll only get used for the occasional search as the RX will mostly be used left on a radio channel such as Caroline or Gold. My query is whether anyone has the pinout for it, please. There is an edge connector at the back with 10 connections and a polarising slot between 9 and 10. TIA Graham

Hi Mike,
Thanks for the link - very useful. I can't see my monitor there though, unfortunately. Graham

Hi Graham
I have this filed at work, will fish it out tomorrow. Be careful if you're prodding, I think a couple of the edge connectors have high voltage on them for the brilliance control. Kevin

Can't find my data either, but these wire frame monitors were almost identical, 10 pins (?) with 0V, HS, VS, possibly CS, video and three connections for the contrast/brilliance pot. Bob

Well how outstanding is this? KME are obviously a superb firm - they have emailed me the connection details for both the TTL and Composite input versions. Wow.
For future reference and for search results, the connections are (TTL first): 1: Horiz gnd & PSU gnd; PSU gnd 2: High (external brightness control option) 3: Low (ditto) 4: Wiper (ditto) 5: NC 6: Horiz sync i/p; NC 7: +12V supply 8: Video i/p; video i/p 9: Vert sync i/p; NC 10: Video & vert gnd; Video gnd Guide slot between 9 and 10. Hope this is useful to someone else - now to check and see if I've got a working one here! Graham
