Hi
I need to replace an Electrolytic capacitor (c34 V4 cath. By-pass) 50uF
Any recommendation where l can find it ?

Welcome to the group. 47uF is what is needed at 63V or sometimes 25Volts working.

Plenty of places inc Ebay of course RS,Farnell and Rapid electronics etc.

No doubt it will need a few other caps changing,more so if they are wax.

I nearly bought one of these after Christmas but decided I should start by fixing the Mullard unit I have first.
Kicking myself now as it was only $20 and looked complete

I order from China an electrolytic capacitors 50uF 220v to replace the c34. Is It to high voltage?
I checked on service book.

It will be OK. The capacitor will only have about 6 to 10 Volts across it in normal operation.

The original was probably rated at 25V.

As they are low voltage capacitors, they fit nicely with in the modern day electronic components so are available at almost all 'Electronic components' suppliers. A '47mfd.' at 25, 35 or even 50 volt rated will do the job.

They will be tiny compared to the original one fitted so you might even be able to re-stuff the original capacitor by carefully removing the innards and replacing it with the new smaller one. (If the cosmetic look of the underneath is important).
