Did spot this one, that seems to be appropriate here.

Re: Cartoons in Old Magazines & Catalogues
I've had this one for over 20 years. I think it came from Electronics Weekly.

Can't find a reference but does anyone remember the Signetics(?) roman numeral co-processor?
My favourite Tek cartoon from that website is the Pilot Light. Can anyone remember which scope that was from? |

Re: Cartoons in Old Magazines & Catalogues
There was a cartoon in one of the amateur radio publications (can't remember which one) with a chap inquiring about a AR88 for sale with a crane in the back ground as these were so heavy.

Re: Cartoons in Old Magazines & Catalogues
I've placed it in the forum before but it's worth another airing:

Re: Cartoons in Old Magazines & Catalogues
That second one reminds me of the old tale about TV repairman turning up, thumping the set to get it going and charging £10 (or whatever the appropriate amount).
Customer says "£10 just for thumping the set?" To which the answer is "There was no charge for thumping the set - the charge is for my expertise in knowing exactly where and how hard to thump it."

The "Fluxite Quins" had a longish run, a bit tame by modern standards though!
