Default Cartoons in Old Magazines & Catalogues

I saw this in an old ETI magazine and it made me laugh
- anyone else seen any amusing cartoons in old magazines or catalogues?

Did spot this one, that seems to be appropriate here.

I've had this one for over 20 years. I think it came from Electronics Weekly.

Tek were well known for cartoons in their manuals.
A few examples (Be sure to click on all the links on the page):-

Not forgetting the Write Only Memory (including datasheet!):-

Can't find a reference but does anyone remember the Signetics(?) roman numeral co-processor?

My favourite Tek cartoon from that website is the Pilot Light. Can anyone remember which scope that was from?

There was a cartoon in one of the amateur radio publications (can't remember which one) with a chap inquiring about a AR88 for sale with a crane in the back ground as these were so heavy.

I've placed it in the forum before but it's worth another airing:

That second one reminds me of the old tale about TV repairman turning up, thumping the set to get it going and charging £10 (or whatever the appropriate amount).

Customer says "£10 just for thumping the set?" To which the answer is "There was no charge for thumping the set - the charge is for my expertise in knowing exactly where and how hard to thump it."

The "Fluxite Quins" had a longish run, a bit tame by modern standards though!

Unfortunately, my collection of cartoons was destroyed when our cellar flooded many years ago but one of them summed this up beautifully.

A man is leaving the room with a big grin and carrying the usual case marked "TV Repairs".

A woman with a non-plussed expression is standing beside the TV.

On the top of the set there is an 'X' ...

There is no caption ...
