Hi Guys.

I know it's a year on but I had a OM345 fail the other day in my 2022E. IC2 the amp for the 160 Mhz reference oscillator.

I already had a mmic mar 6 module ready to go, and to get the 2022 working again, it was fitted. I know the current required is approx. 50 m/a but needs must. However reading through this thread I decided to have a go at my OM345. Scraping away the resin around the capacitor is quite difficult, and after a number of tries, I tinned the ends of the cap. As I had no 0603 3K9, I fitted a 0.125 leaded resistor, tested and result.
