Default Corning CK12

I have acquired a packet of these, about which I can find nothing.

They're DO35 ish packages, with CK12 BX 181M 7134 markings.

The packet is labelled Corning Electronics CK12 CK13 CK14 and has 180pF scribbled on it. 180 would tie up with 181 and M with a tolerance perhaps.

Corning means glass and metal glaze etc to me- Electrosil?

Any ideas?

Default Re: Corning CK12

SILENCE I hear.....

Poked about some more- they would seem to be an obsolete glass dielectric type made by Corning Glass Works capacitor division which ended up as part of AVX. AVX still do some CK types- CK30, 31 which look physically similar.

Looks like I've got a dozen glass dielectric 180pF 5% 100V diddly capacitors.

Not worth a lot, unlike some of the CGW offerings
