I'd go with 2.7k as well. It just means the spot is the same colour as the body so you get red violet red.

Might be worth measuring it, this style of resistor often gets toasted with little effect on its value.

It measures 238r. Lot less than 2.7k!

So the earlier comments that it's 270R (270 ohms) could well be correct.

I don't think it matters, it shouldn't be there anyway. It's presence is a mystery.
