Default Gec c1652

Hi All,

I started on this set yesterday afternoon by checking the reservoir capacitor, line output transistor and other areas of the circuitry for shorts. The set worked fine for about 10 minutes and then it just died .

Your help and guidance will be much appreciated .

Thanks in advance, Paul

First things first. Isolate the line stage and see if there's any output from the PSU - put a 60w bulb across the HT line.
