Default NP-11 Battery Rebuild

Hi,

I came across this old thread: https://www.vintage-radio.net/forum/...d.php?p=754608

I have three of these batteries, two of which hold some charge - but it's less and less each time I re-charge and I've not found a way to fully discharge them before discharging them.

The other seems to be completely dead so I thought I might tried the rebuild in this thread. My question is about recharging. Could this 'new' battery be charged in the old charger or would it need a specific charger for the new battery? If the latter I can build it so the battery case opens and the battery pack can be removed for charging.

Any help appreciated. Thanks.
