Tuning Cord
Hello to everyone, I am not sure if this is the correct section for this. I was passing Woody's in Wembley, yesterday, and decided to call in to see if they had any fishing line that would do as tuning cord. I emerged with 150 yards of 'Seawitch' terylene, braided cord. With it, one can land a 150 LBs fish. I haven't tried my sample yet, but it looks just right as tuning cord for most radios. Coils of 150 Yards cost £20. Woody's is on the Harrow Road, in Wembley, and the person in charge is very helpful. All the best. John.

Re: Tuning Cord
I have been using necklace cord.
It comes in more practical amounts from fabric and sewing emporiums. It is also waxed or at least the last reel I bought was. |

Re: Tuning Cord
I too use bead cord but from China direct at a next to nothing price for a big reel, it works just fine.
