Revox B77 Help - UK Vintage Radio Repair and Restoration Discussion Forum

Hi Had a good working Revox B77, Replaced the VU meter lamps, and the motor
caps, switched it on and Capstan motor works, non of the reel motors work, non
of the press switches work or the amp record lamps, any idea where to look,
VU meters light up OK , I need all the help I can get, HI Fi Jim 81

First thing to check is the power supplies. Have you the service manual? This can be downloaded from Studer,

I am about to check the power supply, and yes I have a manual, I find it strange that
all was working, till I replaced the VU lamps, when you power it on the VU meters kick up a tad but the record indicator lamps don't light up Jim,
