Hello,
I have a Murphy B40 receiver that I'm offering free to a good home. It was given to me by a famous enthusiast so I would like it to go to another enthusiast who can make best use of it and give it the 'good home' it deserves. It's been dry stored since I've had it and looks like it's good condition. Comes with a power lead but I've never powered it on. I would say it needs an overhaul (or at least a good service) before being powered on as it has not been used for many years. It's located in York, North Yorkshire. Collection only please. Names in a hat if more than one person is interested. Cheers Spike |

I would also like my name " in the hat"
our amateur radio club is creating a radio museum in Wick Heritage museum where we already have most of the now closed martine Wick radio station RX's and TX's, including the operations console/desk, we saved these from being scrapped, we would really like to add the B40,which was a navy radio to the collection. That means it will be on view, working and in a protected environment and could not be sold on. thanks for your consideration. James MM0HDW |

Hi
After some thought I have concluded that this isn't the model I am really interested in. Please remove me from consideration. Regards Jeff Abbishaw |

The model is a B40 B or C type so no vfo/bfo added.

If not given away already. I am only interested in the mounting plate. But I can of course imagine that the receiver and mounting should stay together. Best regards from a Murphy Collector from Holland.

Its a repainted (ugly) incomplete modified (for worse) so not to my interest. The circuit diagram is not original (I asked the seller).
Best regards qwenix. |
