Default Bush SRP 64 deck removal

Hello All
I have recently recovered my wife's 1970 Bush SRP64 record player from the attic and hope to get it working for her birthday. I have a few questions and i am hoping someone can help.
1) Where can i buy parts for this model (missing two control knobs)
2) How do i remove the deck from the cabinet
3) The automated return arm doesn't work at all and i have been unable to remove the cogged wheel using medium force (don't want to break it) i have taken the spring clip off ?.
looking forward to hearing from other members with a lot more knowledge than I

1: You can buy some parts such but certainly not the original knobs. But you can buy near equivalents via an online search. Many Guitar amplifier specialists sell similar.

2: Unscrew the (6?) chrome headed screws around the black motorboard and lift the whole assembly out. Don't strain the leads. It's best to screw up the deck's transit screw first.

3: This is late (1973) model BSR deck and there are Stickys above that may help with the automatic mechansim. Also, search for a service sheet - the label on the underside of your deck should say something like Model C129.

This may be far from straightforward as you don't seem to be experienced at electronics/restoration and the record player will probaly need quite a bit of work/ diagnosis by now! Take a look at the excellent "Reviving Your Record Player "stickie" in this section. You can also do a search for information on tackling your player from previous threads here. It will give you a good idea of what may be involved.

How soon is the Birthday by the way?
