Default What's the model of the radio?

Hello everyone!

Please, help me to identify the model of this radio. I can't find any information about it in the russian forums.

What parts of the radio are missing? It doesn't work unfortuntly, the lamps aren't function.

I want to repair it but I haven't any information about this radio.

Thank you for your attention, and i'm sorry for my English.

Are the names on the tuning scale in the Russian language? This would most likely indicate a Russian made radio.

If not then the language used might give a clue as the the country it was manufactured in.

The names on the tuning scale are in the English. The radios of such type were not made in Russia / USSR. The radio's nameplate is damaged. I can read PHILIPS , but I don't know the model. 'Mullard' is written on the player.

Hi, and welcome- and your English is better than that of quite a few English people! A Philips set may have been made in Holland or Germany, or possibly elsewhere in Western Europe- it may be worth posting on the vintage websites of those countries. It certainly looks like a very well-made and heavy item, it would be interesting to know how it came to be where it is. Could it have come from an embassy or diplomatic residence?

Don't keep it powered for too long before it is checked and overhauled- without changing a few simple and low-cost components, serious damage could be caused to more important and expensive parts.

Good luck with it.

The record deck was made by Collaro, a 3RC521 or similar:

the record deck is an early three speed Collaro 3RC521 or 3RC511 made in England. A picture of the radio chassis may help to identify it. crossed with above post

Thank you for your answers! It's really Collaro 3RC521 - model of player. It doesn't work because of the 2 nonfunctioned lamps (AZ41) or smth else what i don't know yet.

It's history unknown because i'm third owner or this radiogram and the second owner know nothing about it. Most likely, you are right about its coming in the USSR by the embassy.

I'll try to make more photos on this week.

Hello!
I've made some photos. Record player and chassis are well saved. I'm not sure that the needle of the record player is original. How do you think, what chances to find the original needle?

I've bought the another record player - Philips 145V. Its selector of voltage is under the disk. Do you know, how can we raise the disk for the access to selector?
