Default World Radio History site broken?

Looks to me that the huge archive of magazines is broken... I've been trying to look at some ETI (UK) magazines and it can't find any of them and also seems to redirect to ETI (Canada)... Practical Electronics suffers a similar fate. I hope they fix it because its a great resource - I hope they haven't been struck by the copyright police....

Cheers

Hmm it works if I use that link but not if I go to the home page, click on the "E" and select ETI UK..
Oh well at least that means its probably just slightly broken and will be fixed! Either that or my browser cache needs clearing....

I seem unable to replicate your problem of accessing ETI UK from the home page index. I even successfully downloaded a magazine. I'm using Firefox.

The link works fine for me via Google Chrome or Edge.

Just had a quick trip down memory lane and a glance at 1972 ETI.

It's the change in the value of the pound with inflation which I always find astonishing.

Sure, it's close on 50 years ago, but even so, an Antex soldering iron at £1.50 does sound really cheap till I checked what that equates to at 2020 prices: £25.00! Not quite the bargain that it seems. However, the cover price of 20p for ETI only equates to £2.85 today, which compares favourably with the current £4.50 price of PW, (not that I ever buy it or even bother looking for it in WHS).

£1.00 in 1972 = £14.20 today.

Its something up with my browser. Still playing up in Chrome, tried it on Firefox and its working fine.
I sometimes weep at stuff in the adverts... if only I'd been able to afford it & put it away for future me!
