Default Dismantling an Italian Telephone Dial

Hey all,

Has anyone taken one of these dials apart before, need toget the finger wheel off to clean behind, but i have hit a brick wall.

Loooong tim ago... You have to start on the back side, lots of springs and parts. Do you relly need to take it apart?
Equal to Ericsson dials from approx 1920-something.

No, I think I can get away without stripping it to be honest. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't going mad and that it perhaps clipped off

Some of these are pretty tough to tune, but usually clean inside because of the "lid" on back. (3 screws?) Be careful with oil!
