Default What is this symbol?

I’m sure this is a dumb question and the answer is very simple... but can anyone tell me what the broken circles highlighted by yellow rings mean on this circuit diagram.
Sorry they are small and a bit difficult to see but there are three of them inside the yellow circles.

They represent connectors, & the broken circles represent the shield of the screened cables.

Thanks Mark... so would that mean that points 2 and 4 on PL101 are connected on this part of the circuit?

Pin 2 is connected to the wire that heads off the top of the shown section of the circuit, while pin 4 is connected to "ground" and to the screen round said wire.

Exactly as Dave Moll says, plus in your previous drawing pin 2 on PL101 heads off over the top via a shielded cable to a pin on plug PL600, while pin 4 connects to the shield (screen) of that cable & reappears at the other end of the cable & onto a pin on PL600.

oh, & pin 2 & pin 4 are not connected, but they do both connect to the core(2) & the shield(4) of the same shielded cable.
