Record Player identification
I'm hoping one of you guys might help identify this record player. I'm thinking Fidelity? No clues inside or out.

Re: Record Player identification
I can understand you thinking Fidelity which it might be, but it could also be a CIVIC. Such unbranded players will have been made for mail order or for sale through department stores. Yours was probably made 1961/62, uses a BSR UA14 autochanger and I bet has a BSR TC8H cartridge and a UL84/UY85 valved amplfier. The turntable mat does not look original and the plastic centre cover is missing. Does it work OK?

Re: Record Player identification
Sadly not, as needs a new cartridge and a full amp overhaul and as I'm under a three line whip to decorate inside of this house. I'll have to let it go. Thanks for reply. I have just noticed the glue remains of where a square sticker was in place which might have indicated a possible HF Fidelity as about right size.
