BVWS NVCF Table Booking Query
For the first time, I decided to book a table at the NVCF this year. I sent the form off with my cheque in good time on 30 January stating which table I'd like if it was free (next to a chum). To date, my cheque hasn't been cashed and I've had no notification via e-mail, post or phone that the table has been reserved. It isn't apparent from the form who to contact in the event of a query - there was just an address to which to send the form. Given that two months have elapsed, I'm getting a bit concerned and am wondering if something is amiss.
I'm hoping to have a good clear-out and it won't be a moment too soon! I'd appreciate advice as to who to contact to follow this up if anyone can help please. Thanks in advance.

Re: BVWS NVCF Table Booking Query
Thanks for reading my post Mike and for your helpful response - I never thought to look at the BVWS website - on the booking form there's just a private address. I've now e-mailed the address you've provided from the website, along with a copy of my booking form, so hopefully, I should get an update soon.
Not having booked a table before, I've no idea whether a delay of a couple of months in receiving confirmation is the norm, and if a table has been reserved for me. However, my chum had confirmation of his booking last week, though his cheque hasn't yet been cashed, so maybe they're retained until there is a batch worth banking rather than trotting back and forth to the bank? Hopefully I'll hear something soon, and in due course, my 'goods and chattels' will appeal to the punters, enabling me to return home with an empty boot!

Re: BVWS NVCF Table Booking Query
Hi David
Let me know (by PM) if you don't get a response to the email by the end of the week and I'll chase it up for you. Don't worry about the cheque not being banked yet, they usually all get banked in bulk nearer to the event.

Re: BVWS NVCF Table Booking Query
Haven't had a response, but have managed to get through on the phone this morning. Guy wasn't there, but the helpful lady to whom spoke said that Guy was working down the list and that I was on it, and should get confirmation in due course, so hopefully, I'm sorted! My mission for the day (under the watchful eye of my wife!) will be to return home with an empty boot, so anything I'm tempted to buy will need to fit in my pockets!

David
Car boots will be checked on the way out, if they're found to be empty, you'll be sent back in!!

Re: BVWS NVCF Table Booking Query
After the car boots, have been checked by the “NVCF” team and passed “full”, there will be another checkpoint manned by all the Wife’s and Partners etc. to send you back to sell/leave behind what was passed by the “NVCF” check point
