This site has some info and a circuit: http://vk2bv.org/museum/r1392.htm

If you need more you could always try the RAF Hendon archive for a manual.

Hi Onewatt,

I have one of these receivers that i saved from certain destruction and had trouble finding a curcuit as well.
However i have attached 2 circuits which were supplied by an Australian Wireless museum (http://www.vk2bv.org/museum/index.htm).
I contacted them to see if they had a better version of the circuit, but they only had a poor circuit themselves. They were very helpfull and friendly though .
Hope these are of some help.

Cheers,
Alan.

Just as an aside Alan, I recognised an about to be scrapped chassis as a receiver at the last minute although there wasn't much there!
Despite the help of GMB and others on here, it was very hard to identify or find a photo. The museum you referred to saved the day. It was the BC639. Not RAF [as I had thought] but USA made for European use.
Its the one that's bottom right on the selection of sets shown on the front page. Dave
