Default X2 Capacitor Value

An X2 capacitor on my Teleslide 35mm slide projector decided to explode on me tonight. It is/was a Wima 0.033uf X2, and made an awful stink when it went.
The closest I have in my component spares are 0.22uf X2 and 0.047uf X2, would it be Ok to substitute, and which one would be better to fit?

thanks.
Ian

The value isn't critical. I would use 0.047. 0.22 is quite high, though if you actually mean 0.022 then that would be OK too.
