Default Marantz CD63 repair

Hello all
The fault with this superb player was intermittent play after replacing the laser the fault remained the same to cut a very long story short. Scope checks lead me to C813 4700mfd 16v witch was faulty it read 174mfd
replacing the capacitor cured the fault

watch out laser=£20 cap=50p

all the best jim

Hi Jim,

Could you tell me where you got your laser from? And also where you got the cap from? Is this cap easy to identify on the board?

Kind regards,

Barry
