Help identify Murphy radio
Hi all,
as in the title I am trying to find which model of Murphy is that. I had no luck with google. Thanks |

That looks like a forlorn example of a U182 but be careful because I think there were two versions of identical outward appearance.

It could be a U182 or an A182. They are identical on the outside but one is AC/DC and one is AC. A picture of the inside would help here.

It's an A182.

I would guess from the fact there is an AC/DC version of this set and the size of the mains transformer, that it is an Autotransformer.Therefore live chassis working precautions should be observed.
