Default R1155 Alignment detail please

First of all, thank you for all your replies its great to know help is out there,having spent many hours pouring over my R1155,to no avail,i had a in depth look, and found a metal capacitor bolted to the chassis under the range switch c34 changed it, now she has come alive,but it does seem a bit flat,picks up on all ranges, any thought guys, do i need to get my signal generator out.!!

Change all those cans or the 3 caps in each before touching alignment ,which if untouched is possibly fine.

No,they are slim cans with caps in them.To do it right the need "re stuffing" with small new caps or leave in place and fit the replacements under the chassis.Of course disconnecting the old ones first.

These are the cans. If you don't want to re-stuff them just cut the leads and replace with polypropylene caps under the chassis (one at a time to avoid mistakes!).

I have done those, however, under a small screening plate, found a metalised 0.001uf and a black hunts 0.25uf so waiting for an order come come Friday run out of things, so going to restring the dial cord on a HMV 1115, been doing for a while. Thank you Keith.
