Default Siemens metal cased wall phone

I'm trying to find any info about this Siemens (at least the transmitter is Siemens of London) metal-cased wall phone. Can't see it on Bob Freshwater's.

Any ideas of age or provenance?

Default Re: Siemens metal cased wall phone

Hi Oscar,
Siemens were involved in Railway signalling.
Wonder if this was related.
Because of the War, they tied up with GEC and became SGE Signals.
One can still see SGE Traffic Lights around.
